Times and Prices

Opening Times

Summer (1 April to 31 October)

Tuesday to Sunday 10am – 5pm (Closed Mondays)

Bank Holiday Mondays open 10am-5pm

Winter (1 November to 21 March)

Tuesday to Friday 10am-4pm (Closed Mondays)

Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm (Including bank holidays)

  • Last admission to the museum is one hour prior to closing times
  • Café closes one hour prior to closing times
  • Gift shop closes half an hour prior to closing times

Admission Prices

Adult: £6.00

Concessions: £4.00 (students, over 60s, disabled)

Children: £2.00

Family Ticket: £12.00 (2 adults and up to 5 children)

Annual Pass Prices

Why not buy an annual pass? This lasts for a full year and gives you unlimited access to the museum and to the Ross Tiger (subject to availability and Terms and Conditions apply)

Adult: £12.00

Concessions: £8.00 (students, seniors and visitors with disabilities (carers are free of charge)

Family Ticket: £24.00 (2 adults and up to 5 children)

The Ross Tiger is open all year round – subject to availability

Group rates (15 or more) – prices below are per ticket

Adults: £4.00

Concessions: £3.00 (students, over 60s, disabled)

Children: £2.00
